Aladdin
I’m excited to present my latest personal project.
I was really keen to revisit one of the animated characters who had made the biggest impression on me during my childhood. So I started with a simple question: what would Aladdin look like today, in 3D?
I like to use my personal projects as an opportunity to step outside my comfort zone and explore both the artistic and technical aspects of my work in greater depth.
I tried to push my limits at every stage of production: modelling, topo, rigging (using AdvancedSkeleton), posing and rendering. As with any personal project, it was also a matter of striking the right balance between the ambition and scope of the project, and seeing it through to completion.
I really enjoyed working on each of these aspects, and I’m delighted to finally be able to share this reinterpretation with you.
